I think the main thing that you are missing “concerned citizen” is that the comments I have made are based on a standard that is described as “the Word of God”. You are the one who is making comments that are based on “your ideas”. I am recognizing that I need a standard outside of myself and there is no truer standard than the Word of God – the Bible. And by the way, I AM preaching the Lord when I preach or teach from His Word. The Bible has much to say about the proper place of government. One of the ways that ministers have failed in our culture is to virtually ignore what the Bible has to say about government. And, by the way, Psalm 2 was most likely written by a government official, a King by the name of David.

I have reservations about the Healthcare Plan. Can it have bad changes on my loved ones life? Will the advances overshadow the negative aspects?

guess what? in America, were a representational democracy, and that means the people decide, and we elected the government. a man made creation that you believe exists doesn’t control the will of others or the government. also take into consideration that the united states is made up of peoples of many religions. our government cannot please just you by taking all the values of your so called “god”. Get God elected into office. Also preach about the lord instead of YOUR ideas.
